Man Charged After Mass Stabbing on LNER Train Near Huntingdon

A major police investigation was launched after a mass stabbing on an LNER train travelling from Doncaster to London King’s Cross. The unprovoked attack, which occurred shortly after the train left Peterborough, injured 11 people, including a heroic train staff member who intervened to protect passengers. The train made an emergency stop at Huntingdon station, where police swiftly arrested the lone suspect, 32-year-old Anthony Williams, who has since been charged with multiple counts of attempted murder.
