Situated on Shoreditch High St, Avalon is a breath of fresh air in an area that has become rather "been there.. seen that" of late. Although only opening its doors a matter of months ago, the team have been working hard to ensure they bring you some of the best nights available in the Capital. Already boasting appearances from internationally recognised DJs. They've also attracted some of London's well known and loved club nights who want to make Avalon their new home. Sunday night's party “Sunday People” is rapidly becoming the place to be if you're in the know, and is now part and parcel of the Shoreditch weekend clubbing circuit.

Any night you arrive you will hear Djs playing electronica, deep house, tech house and just plain good old fashioned house music plus much more. The real difference between the space, and the majority of other sticky carpeted venues selling overpriced drinks (that we've all become accustomed to!) is the superb surroundings for you and your friends to indulge yourselves in. From the gorgeous hotel style lobby with friendly security and staff to greet you, through into the bar area which has strong Asian influences and Baroque furnishings.. Its luxurious and rather decadent and you'll want to stay a while!

There are 2 areas – which are all laid out over one floor (so ladies.. No traipsing up and down annoying stairs when you have your skyscraper heels on! Don't you hate that?!) One area is more for chilling out, chatting relaxing with your friends over a drink or ten! This area has lots of elegant chairs and tables, that can be booked in advance if you so wish. The other is where the action happens and where you can let your hair down after a hard week at work.. The dance floor! This also has seating should you wish to take a breather. Brand new sound system, lights and some fancy LED lighting effects, even a large smoking area at the rear.. Everything you could possibly need! If this wasn't enough the bar staff are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and can make a mean cocktail! Happy hour is from 5-9pm with 2 cocktails for £10, 2 bottled beers for £5 and a single house spirit and mixer for £3. (open 7 days a week, 5pm till late)
