The East Village club in Great Eastern St in the heart of Shoreditch opened it's doors in Feb 2008 and has hosted some of London's finest club nights and welcomed the world's biggest djs to play in the intimate basement with it's high grade sound system. Resident dj and music programmer Stuart Patterson (also one of the men behind seminal London club nights Faith and Soulsonic) will host the weekly show inviting forthcoming dj guests at East Village to drop a 30 minute mix in the show. Along with this guest mix in the first hour of the show expect a mix up of styles that represents the eclectic midweek and Friday night parties at the club from Hot Wuk to Rootikal, Night Slugs to On The Real.

The 2nd hour will always feature a mix from Stuart playing strictly newly released proper house muzik which East Village is probably best known for. The guest djs at the club on a Saturday reflect this open minded but quality house outlook with Kerri Chandler, Martin Landsky, Tony Humphries, Robert James, DJ Pierre, Oliver $, Giom, Joey Negro, Andre Lodemann, Sancho Panza and Paul Woolford all appearing in the last and forthcoming month.
As a dj Stuart has had an illustrious careeer since the late 90's playing regularly all over the world while also releasing many well received compilations on highly regarded labels including BBE and Heavenly.
The show aims to give a little weekly dose of the quality music that East Village is proud to present to thousands of music lovers that come to the venue every week.
