Once upon a time there were three great friends who loved nothing more than an evening chatting with friends over tasty, home-style Italian cooking. Finally they decided to open an Italian deli and kitchen so they could do it all day.

Theresa Lococo, Nicolas Franzè and Clare Evans are Franzé & Evans – Redchurch Street’s new place to eat. Theresa, a beauty therapist and frustrated chef has finally left the spa to indulge in her passion for brilliant food. She brings years of experimentation and exemplary eating to the kitchen.

Her little cousin Nicolas, the creative brains behind the deli, has turned his back on the art world to scour his Italian birthplace for the best regional produce he could get his hands on.

And Clare Evans has swapped her barrister’s wig and gown for an apron. Clare will take charge of everything the Italians can’t - or won’t - do. Which is quite a lot.

While Theresa spends every waking hour in the kitchen, and Nicolas holds court at the counter, Clare will make sure peace and harmony reigns.
