The central core of Black Cherry is made up of the writing duo of Megane Quashie and Guilhem Fraisse both with very different musical backgrounds and influences. The two fused together create a seamless blend of Electro, dance and rock to formulate the distinctive sound that is Black Cherry. Black Cherry have performed at many high profile shows and festivals such as Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, V Festival, Rockness, Connect Festival, Balaton Sounds, SXSW, CMJ and many many more.

Continuing the development of their sound, Black Cherry have been working on their first physical release with Colin Emmanuel (Beta Band), which was release on 22nd June 2010 through ISM Records. The long waited Ep will form a tribute to lost but not forgotten band member Rob Moore who passed away on 22nd Sept 2009. Vocalist Megane continues to be a pioneer in front woman fashion and is regularly lending her face to many fashion campaigns, this alongside the band playing a killer show at Glastonbury 2010 on the John Peel stage just proves that Black Cherry are a band coming back with huge bang. They clearly have the quality to keep on re-inventing themselves as a band with infectious tunes and leave each crowd stunned after every performance. 2010 shows all the signs to be the mark of this band.
